Nothing has changed about impeachment since Bill Clinton. The donks in the Senate didn't even bother to review the evidence, so I'd say the precedent was set back then.

If there aren't enough votes in the Senate, its a symbolic exercise at this point. No different than censure really at all.

Its not a very sharp tool, which will eventually lead to an end to abusing it. It didn't hurt Bill Clinton and his old lady and it didnt hurt Trump with his base either. Maybe it's about keeping their own base appeased.


That being said: I support the impeachment of Joe Biden, even if it fails.

Was it other than the senate that chose not to follow up on such?
Does the constitution offer other remedies?
