US nearing completion of destruction of its last chemical weapons stockpile

Chemical Destruction Community Advisory Board (CDCAB) community liaison Craig Williams spoke with commissioners regarding the disposal of the chemical weapons at the Blue Grass Army Depot.

He informed the commission that the end is near in the disposal. He said he would likely only be briefing them one last time before the ceremony for the completion of operations — scheduled for October 11, 2023 — at the Army Reserve Center in Richmond.

Williams said that, out of the 523 U.S. tons of chemicals hosted at the depot, there have been 432.8 U.S. tons destroyed.

“We’re on the last campaign now, which is the GB rockets,” Williams noted. He added that they are 67.3% finished with that stockpile, and that “that’s the last of it.”

With Russia having destroyed its last chemical weapons in 2017 and the US on track to destroy its last remaining chemical weapons this year, Japan is still working with China on destroying remaining Japanese-made chemical weapons stockpiles that Japanese soldiers abandoned in China near the end of World War II.

Chemical weapons are no good and what is good now is the news that we're starting to hear.
I actually didn't know Russia destroyed their chemical weapons.

First off I find that hard to believe that we would do that. If the government did do that. It means they have something that works better in place ready to use.

Well , it's very Simple . Biological Weapons are Way Better than Chemical Weapons in Killing Masses of People here in 2023 .

The US completed the destruction of its last remaining chemical weapons in July of this year:
