Guatemala makes diplomatic ties with China today

Well there you have it China is making more inrords in Central America.

I understand Chinese going to build a brand new hospital for the Guatemalans.

So what's next the military base for China.

Amazing what all the Wall Mart money and favorable trade agreements has done for the CCP... I think it was Khrushchev that said they would hang us with the rope we sold them...nothing really changes with the commie bastards IMO

Don't they have the 50-year lease on the Panama canal also.

Panama owns/operates the canal but China's been looking at building a new one through Nicaragua. That would be significant.

Well I heard or I thought Carter gave the Chinese the authorization to lease the Panama canal but I don't know that's what I was told years ago.
