there. Costa Rica used to be a place of not to bad but... There are many other places in this big old world that do not have the crime and infrastructure problems that Costa Rica seems to have now.

We got some great advice coming through! Please do tell us where would be good to live?

I know right? I had to look it up and then almost feel out of my chair. This is why humans on this planet are my favorite species!

I would think things to make or grow your own food would do well.

Seeds, gardening supplies, e-books about making your own food and shelter - things like that.
Items you would need if you didn't have gas or electric - candles, oil lamps, solar, batteries, heavy blankets. Cheap short-term shelter for people in the North without heat.

I'm interested in working in this industry as well. Doing so will also provide the opportunity to take care of one's own funerary needs when those times come. My problem is that I would like to work and participate in this industry outside of the US, which creates a few complications.. but it's still feasible in my opinion.

Yes the entertainment industry seems to be an interesting place to find employment and make investment. Movie business, show business, draws people in a great deal especially when there are great numbers of unemployed and many dis enfranchised people seeking to escape.

Yes, casinos and the like..I've been watching a few mobster type movies lately, and well, it's smart business even if it can be dangerous, and risky. It just occurred to me that you could start up a security watchman business to protect people who are afraid of losing their wealth and earnings during dangerous times. A security and defense business where you hire and train body guards, back men, maybe even mercenaries. It would be a safety and security outfit to help others. Not a bad idea huh? Fine Purveyors of Security and Detail..

Work at it if you can and have the resources. Getting out of the US would be the best thing you could do. If you can learn Spanish, you might want to look at South America.

Choice idea, especially with the mid-term elections coming up. I've always said the only true winners of elections are the sign makers.

With the advent of digital streaming, people are watching their big screens more than ever. Escapism is a good investment.

As a customer, I do not want the same person handling my items or bags to also be cleaning up biohazardous waste. I appreciate their defiance on this matter. Walk-in based business should have a dedicated cleaning staff.
