Orange border around textboxes

What the screenshot says below... and also, the textbox clears all the text once I leave it and come back and want to go again. Just happened after I uploaded this screenshot. I won't type again so here it is:

All I'm seeing is a blue box around it, that I can get to show or not.
Moved around various open tabs, text stayed.

Now it's gone! I see I just went over 600 posts, but it was a few posts before that. Maybe it's a feature somehow to tell the OCD users (only they would notice anyways ) that they are about to reach a full hundred posts?

Like greg the good guy pointing out to check out the speedometer because it says 123456km, kind of way?

I feel like we will never know!

I don't recall ever noticing any color, but mine's blue. Has it always been? Maybe.

Mine is white now, like most of the time, when it isn't golden. It's not the first time I noticed. That may be browser related how the textbox is highlighted when selected, in different colors.

Secretly I hope it's an alien race trying to contact me. I'll throw in a good word for most of you. :-P

Mine has had all three colors: gold, white, blue. Like you, I first noticed it when I had a gold one. I thought it meant something, but then, the next time, it was back to blue. This one now is white.

I have no idea why they are like that or if they mean anything. I've stopped worrying about it.

mine is white now.

even in edit . don't remember other colors.

It's not prime numbers in post count, I checked that since because I went over a few of those in the meantime and no golden bar.

Mystery intensifies.

I thought I would post something to see if I have a border. Looks like I have a blue one. At least on my Ipad with Safari as the browser. Sometimes I log on ATS on my desktop with Windows 11 and Edge browser. I’ll have to check that one out later. Interesting stuff. I never really noticed that before.

Is there a vaccine for this orange border problem ?

Is the border being racist? Does ot ga or white powerful men?

Asking for clarity.

Now I'm on my Windows PC desktop, Edge browser. White border this time. Which tells me, depending on what OS you're on and what browser you're on, may depend on the color of the border you have when composing comments.

This is white.

I opened to edit and there was white again.
