I find this funny that once again this Anti-Lynching bill gets put out there at the same time Hunter's laptop gets put in the media.

My neighbor, who is black, was also wondering why Will Smith smacking Chris Rock is all over the media, but when a black kid in Detroit rapes and shoots another black kid, nothing is said?

I wonder if this anti-Lynching bill only applies to black people, or will it apply equally to all races? If it doesn't, then this law is not only anti-lynching, but also anti-Constitutional.

Only a bigot could be against a law that makes more penalties if you LYNCH SOMEONE.

You are mixing the terms of lynching and hanging.
A lynching is when a mod hangs someone without a trial.
Hanging is a form of execution used after a trial.


This is also why this new law is nothing more than virtue signaling.
Apparently a mod beating someone to death is just normal illegal but if you use a rope and hang someone illegally it’s a hate crime plus illegal…

I got what your saying. I'm just flabbergasted that an instrument or tool is used in such a way to cause death or bodily harm. Murder is already illegal, this new law is a Tax Payer waste of time. And now lynching is off the books to use in executions.

Because it's not necessary to make a Federal law condemning Lynching , It would already fall under the category of a hate crime. So why the spectacle by Biden , Why bring up lynching out of the Blue as if it's an active problem ?

I think the craziest part is that they are already illegal and considered a hate crime. Over 100 years ago it was made a criminal offense.

What was really in that bill and why was it passed? IT is not about 'lynching'. It is about putting away poltical prisoners.
