Brazil is getting hit hard with flooding

This is some heavy flooding. So much going on in Brazil and people are really starting to fight over food.

It looks like it was one of those rare floods that keep increasing in frequency.

Could it be weather wars?

The jump in the price of coffee definitely verifies that there are problems in South America. I guess I need to bring my stock up from ten cans to twenty before the price goes through the roof.

Now, that I have related this to how it effects me, I will make a comment to show my concern.

It really sucks to be living down there right now, I hope things get better for those people. Some of that flooding has been caused by increasing production of foods stuffs and destroying the stuff that binds the soils to keep them from flooding so they can grow more food to export. If not done correctly, farming can lead to devestating consequences, especially if you take away too much trees and brush that hold the soils together and buffer the water runnoff.

That's insane. Hope people are able to stay safe and no more deaths. At least they appear to mostly build out of stone and concrete. In the States the damage would be 10x.
