In this dystopian version of Great Britain we now live in it seems it's OK for six "police officers" to break down a terminally ill man's gate and
wrestle him to the ground to arrest him for the heinous crime of mooning a mobile speed camera van , in the Britain I grew up in he would have been
spoken to and probably arrested regardless of his health status but the treatment of Darrell Meekcom in the footage below shows just how out of
control our police FORCE has become.
Mr Meekcom Mooned the van because it was on his bucket list , the response by the Stasi was beyond unacceptable for the "offense" commited
In the last couple of days the King of social comment seems to have left his opinion of the incident on a subway wall of Mr Meekcom's home town of
Kidderminster , well played Banksy !
www.bbc.co.uk...
When I first heard of this incident I was disgusted as any right thinking Brit should be , excessive force is excessive force and should not be
tolerated in a "free" country , Fair play to you Mr Meekcom for ticking off one of your bucket list goals ... ACAB.

It's probably less because of the mooning and more because he didn't let them in. It's not heroic but if you're outgunned a good strategy is
cooperation and a dialogue.
Though for this offense a letter with an invitation to talk about it would have been enough.
So still 50% wtf
"indecent exposure"? When the internet is flooded with the most extreme forms of pornography? Whose eyes were offended here? Just an excuse for some
cowards to get their rocks off bullying a sick middle aged man into submission. A lot of post baby boomer generation guys have daddy issues and carry
a lot of pent up aggression towards their father's generation. Many of them - both cops and criminals spare no mercy on guys old enough to be their
fathers. This sort of hatred and aggression towards elders would have been extremely rare in the 40s 50s and 60s and even 70s
no excuse for the heavy handed thugs with badges but internet pornography has little to do with this topic, otherwise a scumbag could expose himself
at a park and say "Well the internet is flooded with the most extreme forms of pornography"
Lets hope the cops involved are at least investigated and have to justify why they acted in such a manner, and if they cant justify their actions then
disciplinary action should be dished out to them.
I think we're seeing one side of the story here, same as all those stories about people who got fined for taking a walk during lockdown.
One of the most valuable things my dad taught me, way back when I was 9, was how to read and talk to the police. If you play them right, they won't
look in the boot...
It's nothing to do with fascism or dystopia and everything to do with thinking you can give a pack of pumped up blokes some attitude and not get a
reaction. Mind you, if you're black it's just another day.

It's to bad the right in the usa wont let us fix any of the issues with the police because they just don't like the word defund.
It's an extremely complex problem, I get the sentiment of defund, I think some laws need addressing. I'm certainly very critical of the police, but
can't just remove them. They absolutely need to be accountable..very accountable
I would dissolve the police unions and that money goes to a malpractice type system
