And yet overwhelming the richest Americans donated and supported the Dems and Biden

Source?

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has received the bulk of his fundraising support from the country’s wealthiest ZIP codes, a new report found.

news.yahoo.com...

Schultz and Bloomberg would be adding themselves to a list of more than 130 billionaires who have already backed Biden's bid for the presidency, Forbes report. According to FEC records, liberal philanthropist George Soros has already contributed $505,600 and media executive Barry Diller has given $620,600. Former eBay president Jeff Skoll has also given $620,600, and another one of Biden's opponents in the Democratic primaries, Tom Steyer, contributed $371,200.

The list of billionaires supporting Biden is currently much longer than the one of those backing President Trump, despite Trump's predictions that the U.S. will see economic ruin should Biden defeat him in November.

So which is it

These billionaires want to give their money away

Or they think Biden will help them get more money and power?

Actually, this bit of info says that Republicans donated more this cycle.

"What party did donors giving more than $100,000 favor in the 2020 cycle?

Of donors giving more than $100,000 to a candidate or party, 43.54% favored Democrats and 55.96% gave to Republicans.
"

Source citation:

"The numbers on this page are based on contributions from individuals giving $200 or more to candidates, PACs and parties and, since 2010, super PACs and Carey Committees (hybrid PACs). All donations took place during the 2019 - 2020 cycle and were released by the Federal Election Commission on October 23, 2020."

Make of it what you will.
I have no dog in this fight.

If they have a politician/party where they can keep a monopoly...like...social media I'll bet they wanna keep it....Stay with me.

Except it’s the Democrats who want to break up their monopolies. The Republicans have made it known it’s not breaking up their monopolies they care about. I’m sure you followed the hearings with big tech earlier this year like I did.

The committee’s Republican lawmakers asked a handful of questions along these lines — which is to say, inquiries about how tech incumbents may be using their power to thwart competition. But the bulk of their queries had little to do with monopoly power as such.

Rather, the GOP committee members were chiefly concerned with safeguarding Donald Trump Jr.’s God-given right to share misinformation about hydroxychloroquine over social media, and scolding Google for inhibiting search users’ access to a far-right blog that routinely misidentifies perpetrators of mass violence and promoted conspiracy theories about the Parkland shooting.

In the abstract, these complaints aren’t irrelevant to the monopoly issue, as they speak to a concern with the power that private platforms have secured to define the boundaries of acceptable speech.

Link

Republicans have made it publicly known it’s not the monopolies they care about, but being fact checked.

Have you forgotten how Republicans are influencing social media companies?

Trump hosted secret White House meeting with Facebook CEO

Facebook manipulated the news you see to appease Republicans

Facebook throttled traffic to progressive news sites

They even kept their data secret to allow claims of anti-conservative bias to persist. To appease Republicans by allowing them to continue claiming social media is biased against them.

Link

You can believe what right leaning outlets and people tell you. Or you can look at what these companies are actually doing and draw your conclusions from that.

Yes but that doesn’t speak to who the richest have to, only who gave more than 100000 gave to

Again, it doesn’t contradict the evidence I provided showing most billionaires support Biden, and most rich district’s have their people support Biden over trump

No doubt the rich play both sides

But under weeks argument was the rich wouldn’t support Biden cause he will tax them

That’s laughable

Yes, this is evident in how things are being censored, deplatformed and banned. These actions speak for themselves.

Or I can listen to a socialist and left leaning outlets? I'll think for myself thanks.

Out of the top 25 richest donors, 13 donated to Republicans.

Link

Of course some play both sides, and some donate to only Democrats. That doesn’t change the fact that it’s Democrats who are the ones trying to break up their monopolies and tax them. While Republicans are having secret meetings with CEOs and (coincidentally, I’m sure to all of you) the social media companies are working in their favor while helping spread the rumor that they’re being persecuted.

If you believe something is socialist and left leaning just because it tells the truth about shady things Republicans are doing, then we obviously aren’t arguing from a mutual reality.

If you aren’t discussing in good faith, there’s no reason to discuss.

Well Shel Adelson was #1, for the R's with 180 million + donated.
Right under him, was Bloomberg.
Go figure right?
Two mouths, same face.
Like Janus, but with zero mythic status or actual significance.

No, I use past actions to make an opinion.

Kind of like the actions of big social media companies.

Over here trying to figure out why the “liberal” mega-rich would be supporting a political party that wants to tax them into oblivion and break up their tech monopolies. Taking even more money from them..

Because yeah, that makes sense.

Because “liberal” mega rich rationalize it as helping out the little people and if they think it really truly helps, they’ll welcome the tax rate.
Plus, these are Democrats, they enrich themselves, come on man! Tech monopolies can simply pay their way around with Democrats in charge.

Because yea, it totally makes sense, seriously 😐

Yeah, it is because they don't get taxed. You see, they have tax loopholes in place for these large companies who pay them to have tax loopholes continue for them. Watch what they do, not the bullcrap they say.

Because the mega rich need voters....tax paying voters.

For what?

They’re mega-rich. And I thought they don’t care about taxes. Why would they want voters who support taking their money and breaking up their companies?

Hey again.

If your post to which I’m replying is meant by you as a real question, then Grambler, JinMi, Arnie, and Infolurker have all given you clear, concise, actual answers. I hope you read them. And think about them. Think about them, friend.

One little detail that some people miss is that a healthy corporation doesn't pay taxes. Their customers do. So just remember when the Biden raises the taxes on the rich and corporations it won't really matter to them. The taxes roll downhill and hit the consumers. Remember that when gas goes back to $5.00 a gallon and a Big Mac and fries meal costs $10.

And those who really have money they shipped it overseas years ago and cancelled their citizenship.

There has been some talk around about Trump bringing in NERSA, a national economic security bill. Not surprised to see the mega rich are against such legislation. JFK has similar ideas.

Talk from Q idiots.

NERSA is a scam. Always has been.

It’s no surprise the Q movement latched on to it.

ETA: And it’s NESARA, not NERSA

Because you disagree with it? You didn't give your opinion, just said it's a scam. Look in the mirror.

What's a little tax when you can get a chunk of 30 to 90 trillion? Plus power trumps money any day of the week... Take some money but give me unbridle power and we have a deal.
