I was listening to an old Art Bell program about UFOs. Bell's guest was ufologist Paul Stonehill, author of the "Russian Roswell" book.
The wildest part of the discussion was a story that Stonehill told, in great detail, about aquatic aliens in Russia's Lake Baikal.
A quick FYI: Lake Baikal, in southeastern Siberia, is the largest freshwater lake in the world, containing about 1/5 of the world's fresh surface water. It's bigger than all of the North American Great Lakes combined. With a maximum depth of 5,380 ft, it's the world's deepest lake.
I started surfing youtube and found a recent video that tells the Baikal story, as well as an alleged encounter a Soviet sub had with a group of USOs in the South Pacific. The report was declassified about 10 years ago.
The sub encountered a group of six disc-shaped craft traveling at a high rate of speed through the water. The sub began an ascent, and nearing the surface, was able to see the USOs fly up out of the water and zoom off at an incredible speed.
This short video discusses both the USOs encounter and the Lake Baikal aliens encounter.
The Lake Baikal alien story has been discussed here before, but here's a pretty detailed vid for those who may have missed it.
This was just uploaded to youtube a few days ago.

How much you wanna' bet, the original Bell story coincides almost exactly with the release of the movie "The Abyss"??
Circa 1989-ish.
