I speculate that a drill bit slipped.

In any case there was no serious threat to the safety of the ISS or the Soyuz. Unlike the 737 Max thing.

New rockets are often delayed

The first SATURN V test launch was delayed for months - had to X Ray second stage LH2 tank for leaks

Because of size had to take some 4000 pictures of tank
Once that done had issues with ground support and test computers - that took month to work out

First launch wasn't until November 1967

Soyuz is spacecraft for girl.

Now this is a cool one. Looks like a big tadpole or fish kinda thing. Has a tentacle that it grips the Soyuz. Kinda fits with finding plankton on the surface of the ISS theme. Not as dense in space so affects how they move. Train a few of them up and grow some cheep effective transport, Yee Haa.
