President Trump Promises to Uncover Who Was Behind the Possibly Illegal Mueller Investigation.

President Trump and his attorney Rudy Giuliani have always angrily declared that Bob Mueller's Special Counsel investigation was a "Witch Hunt". But now that Mueller has officially cleared the President of wrong-doing, they are extra livid, and are promising to find out who was behind initiating the investigation..

President Trump and his legal team declared total victory Sunday following the release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s key findings -- including no evidence of collusion with Russia during the 2016 campaign -- but sought to turn the tables by renewing calls to investigate the investigators.

Trump himself slammed the probe as an “illegal takedown,” as he called Mueller’s report a “complete exoneration” and said it was a “shame” his presidency had to deal with the investigation for two years.

“Hopefully somebody is going to look at the other side,” Trump said. “This was an illegal takedown that failed and hopefully somebody is going to be looking at the other side.”

In case it wasn't clear what he meant, Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani told Fox News an investigation should be launched into how the investigation began.

“He was being investigated for a crime that never happened,” Giuliani said. “There was never any collusion.”

Giuliani added: "There has to be a full and complete investigation, with at least as much enthusiasm as this one, to figure out where did this charge emanate, who started it, who paid for it.”

The former New York mayor specifically called out one of Trump’s most vocal critics, Rep. Adam Schiff, asking the California lawmaker where the evidence of collusion is that Schiff has said he has.

“Where is Schiff’s evidence?” Giuliani asked. “Where is it? In his head?”

Even though the FBI concluded before the 2016 election that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, it was Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein who appointed Special Counsel Bob Mueller in May of 2017, and tasked him with digging deeper.

What was the legal reason for appointing Bob Mueller as Special Counsel to investigate Trump-Russia collusion? Of even great interest is the still-classified "Scope of Investigation" letter that Rod Rosenstein gave to Bob Mueller in August of 2017. It is one of the items scheduled to be declassified when President Trump issues the order to declassify all "Spygate" documents. That is expected to happen SOON, now that the Special Counsel investigation has wrapped up.

If Mueller's appointment was illegal, then every American he indicted on non-Collusion charges, should be let off the hook...and punitive damages paid to every person who was financially hurt by the Special Counsel's investigation, IMO.

FWIW..NO Individuals, Groups, or Corporations, were indicted for Colluding with Russia during the 22 month investigation.

Are you implying that the still secret "Mueller Scope of Investigation" letter from Rosenstein to Mueller in August of 2017, defined what Bob Mueller's REAL investigative duties were?

Right! And to the best of my knowledge, Congress didn't hold hearings to determine if they would fund a Special Counsel.

I've heard a lot of whining about Trump going around Congress to appropriate border security funding, but did any Congressman complain when Rod Rosenstein did the same thing, by self-appointing Bob Mueller?

The Dems are trying to find excuses today. What gets released tomorrow? The day after?

They will hang themselves out to dry while the whole world watches.

Then the bombshells drop as the indictments commence.

The fun part, the Dems have called for full disclosure. Lol. They will get their full disclosure and then many will wait around or try to flee. Too little too late.

Would President Trump be calling for an investigation into Mueller's appointment, if Mueller did the right thing and exposed the Democrat collusion with Russia, in fabricating the Dossier?
