That being said, sad to see Brad Pitt was involved in this, another political hit piece against the Bushes.

No one can do a better hit piece on the Bushs' than themselves.

Sr was alright with my blissful ignorance of his CIA career.

Jr was alright as a person, he seems charming and sweet, but his career was a blight.

Jeb.... Jeb is really nice to listen to when I have insomnia, or in need of feeling better about my personality.

I didn’t sleep through the whole movie.

The movie was ANTI AMERICA.

I always love Steve Carell though.

I hated this movie!

So if being against war monger career criminal mass murderer politicks is "ANTI AMERICA" then being for war monger career criminal mass murderer politicks is "PRO AMERICA".

Quick rundown for anyone interested:


Movie had fake credits run through the middle of the movie
Portrayed our soldiers as villains
Portrayed George Bush as an idiot who ran nothing
Clearly has NO IDEA how unsafe this country was after 911
Propaganda film 👎🏻

I havent seen it and likely wont and not cause of your review but the only shocking thing you listed would be the credits running in the middle.

I love movies, absolutely love them.

My sister wanted to see a movie today since we have both been working a ton and needed a break.

So she picks this Anti-American film not knowing what it is about.

First I feel asleep due to the boring beginning, I would have left the movie like another moviegoer did once the movie took a #ty turn, but now my sister was asleep, she woke up in enough time to hate the movie so bad, that she is going home to contribute more $ for the Republicans.

First wanted t start my own thread about this movie...but...decided to see if smeone beat me to it.

And yes, there was yours..

It is a boring movie if you expect anything that makes a movie great for you...
But I think there is a message for the american people buried in here... which makes it a kind of pro-american movie.

Before I watched this movie I watched Cristian Bale his acceptance speach for the award he received as best actor. If you just watch that movie and notice how Christian emerged himself in the character Cheney you can expect he knows what he is talking about when thanking satan for the inspiration he received for bringing this Cheney character alive.
US citizens who watch this film can have a glimpse of how corrupt their country is run... Maybe this is a subtle attempt to wake the US citizens the f* up.

So true.

I saw Vice before it came out and I thought it was pretty damn funny. If you're going into this thinking you're watching a historical documentary you're not, they even state up front they had to make things up.

The one thing I took away is that they made Cheney appear to be the smartest man in the room regardless of who he was dealing with; Kissinger, Rumsfeld, Bush 1 & 2, Rove and on and on.
