a very doubtfull report georgia 1951: humanoid encounters

INTRODUCTION
i am still feeling a bit sick but i thought i would drop-off a quick thread:
CASE

Pilot Fred Reagan was flying his Piper Club over Georgia when he felt a mysterious force pull his plane upward, crashing it into an unidentified flying object. Finding himself suddenly inside the strange craft, he encountered three entities, roughly three feet in height, which he likened to giant, metallic stalks of asparagus. The hovering creatures, or perhaps robots, apologized to him for the accident, gave him a quick medical exam and informed him that they had he was now cured of cancer, which he never knew he had

Fred was eventually found unconscious in a field without so much as a scratch, the wreckage of his plane nearby. Its engine was buried almost six feet into the ground, having fallen thousands of feet. Eleven months later, Reagan died mysteriously of degenerating brain tissue, a symptom of overexposure to atomic radiation.

the reason i find this to be a rather doubtfull report is that there are no more information avaliable anywhere in the internet about what happened to the plane wich apparently crashed into a UFO and there is also no more information about the alleged radiation poisoning death
so in the end, despite being a quite popular report, i tend to think its a hoax

Well that is a first!! Never heard of this type of alien description!

I've heard a first hand report of a UFO that looked like a flying 7-11.
It was probably piloted by giant metallic asparagus creatures.
It's all starting to make sense.

this is also one of the low points of the report
there have been other reports of non-humanoid UFOnauts including blob shaped, amorphous UFOnauts
but no one that looked like that

wait what?! are you saying that you read a report of someone one that saw the numbers 7-11 flying in the sky? that would definitely be some high strangeness
maybe it was planes skywriting?
