You have never been sexually assaulted that's why you don't understand why victims never come forward or wait years to do so. I was assaulted when I was 18 but didn't tell anyone till I was in my thirties because of the shame.

To be fair, the FBI would have had no reason to question Ford during the background checks. The only other person, that wasn't Kavanaugh, that was present at the alleged event was Judge. If the event happened, Judge is either covering for Kavanaugh or he legitimately doesn't remember.

So how would the FBI have been keyed in to this if two of participants claim it didn't happen and the alleged victim, who would not have been interviewed by the FBI, only told a therapist in 2012?

Her therapists has recorded transcripts of their meets so it is safe to say that the therapists isn't making this up.

Since many want to talk about sexual assault and victim suppression, let's also talk about the amount of women who lie about sexual assault as well as entrap men for child support.

There are as many shady women as there are many in this world.The fact that we have a man that's been accused of attempted rape by one person in the 80s, yet has 60+ character references from women backing him up, should make us question her.

I'm all against women being raped but I'm also aware of the amount of women who flat out lie about this too.....and her story is highly suspicious.

Now we have potential motives for her lies too.....yet people still blindly assume guilt.

Because in 2012 Romney was running for POTUS and publicly floated that he would likely name Kavanaugh for nomination to become the next Supreme Court Justice.

Reading through this post...and opinions on the content regarding the attempted smearing of an " alleged " victim of a sexual assault aside.....

The thing that stands out is the disgusting tactic of launching a personal attack on a forum member of good standing, who has referenced her own experience of sexual assault to draw a parallel between her own experience and that of CF.

It is ok that everyone has a different interpretation of what actually happened..and it's ok that opinions get thrown around..and exchanges can become heated.

It is NOT ok that a long time member becomes the subject and her experience is used to dismiss her opinion.

Whether CF is telling the truth or not, there is no justification in personally attacking another ATS member.
It makes you look like a bunch of misogynistic fools.

No one has the right to be believed - neither DR Ford or a member of ATS.

Dismissing an opinion is not smearing a person. How do we know that an anonymous person online will not pretend to have been through something as described by Dr Ford simply to attempt to add more weight to their own opinion?

Trust is in short supply these days - brought about by an environment in which claims of racism, sexism, misogyny, assault, homophobia have been so overused as to make them pretty meaningless. That is the fault of those who decided to weaponise social stigmas. It is unfortunate, but real victims now live in a world where they simply can not be taken at face value.

It was actually a two year conspiracy. The Democrat from Hawaii said so. And a question has been brought up sscto whether it's a case of mistaken identity as another man who looked very much like Kav lived in that area and went to the school and Blasey and her friends were prone to drunken binges at parties where people would forget stuff. It was on her own scrubbed social media.

What about the screenshot from Palo Alto University stating she was a “Director of Biostatistics at Corcept Therapeutics?” What about her last name found on 6 publications, I found on the Corcept Therapeutics website? Were these things made up? I agree that they've been known to post a lot on Pseudoscience and have been caught making a few crazy medical claims, but I did substantiate their article linking Ford to this Pharma Company. I still maintain this is a red flag, especially with her lawyers now stalling and making many demands on testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Senator Chuck Grassley gave Ford and her lawyers another extension, so we'll have to see how her accusation holds up after she testifies.
