The quote in the OP is from Trump.

IMO Trump is bashing the MSM for a false narrative. Meaning what you see and hear from the news is not what is actually happening behind the scenes. Basically the same thing he's been saying since before he was elected president.

This is just another example of TDS. Where everything Trump says is twisted to try to make him look bad.

At least Trump was truthful about where
he stands on illegal immigration with
respect to building a wall. Coming to grips
with the reality of such a notion. Hardly
constitutes deceit. It would've been nice
if he made it to office thirty years ago. Now
like everything else, it's futile. Trump will
prove to be to little to late. The privious
Sabateurs did their work well.
