I was lurking, and i found those sentences, i found them pretty interesting, what are your thoughts about it?

______----********O********----______
THE FOUNDATION

"The Declaration of Independence... [is the] declaratory charter of our rights, and the rights of man." --Thomas Jefferson

______----********O********----______
INSIGHT

"We have grasped the mystery of the atom and rejected the Sermon on the Mount.... The world has achieved brilliance without conscience. Ours is a world of nuclear giants and ethical infants." --General Omar Bradley

______----********O********----______
ICTUS IMPRIMIS

"The fundamental basis of this nation's laws was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings...of Isaiah and St. Paul. I don't think we emphasize that enough these days." --Harry Truman

______----********O********----______
FAMILY

"It's well past time for [Leftism] to be declared a religion and banned from public schools. Allowing Christians to be one of many after-school groups induces hysteria not just because liberals hate religion. It's because the public school is their temple. Children must be taught to love Big Brother, welcoming him to take over our schools, our bank accounts, our property, even our toilet bowls." --Ann Coulter

______----********O********----______
CULTURE

"The courts demand that every religious person must accommodate a single atheist who might be 'offended' at the favorable mention of God's name (unfavorable or blasphemous mentions, we are told, are protected by the same First Amendment that prohibits favorable mentions). But no atheist can be forced to accommodate a single religious person who might be offended by the atheist's unbelief, or who wants to be part of the pluralism and diversity about which liberals regularly speak, but which is not broad enough to embrace people who believe in God." --Cal Thomas

______----********O********----______
LIBERTY

"Nowhere have people been willing to work as well for the common good as they do for their own benefit. Perhaps in some other galaxy there are creatures who would, but the track record of socialism among human beings on earth shows that this is not the place. Worst of all, the concentration of political power necessary to try to reduce economic inequalities has allowed tyrants like Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot to impose their notions and caprices on millions of others -- draining them economically or slaughtering them en masse or exploiting them sexually. Mao Zedong, for example, had harems of young girls -- and occasionally boys -- for his pleasure in various parts of China. There is no point blaming the tragedies of socialism on the flaws or corruption of particular leaders. Any system which allows some people to exercise unbridled power over other people is an open invitation to abuse, whether that system is called slavery or socialism or something else. Socialism has long sought to create a heaven on earth but an even older philosophy pointed out that the road to hell is paved with good intentions." --Thomas Sowell

______----********O********----______
THE GIPPER

"But bearing what we cannot change and going on with what God has given us, confident there is a destiny, somehow seems to bring a reward we wouldn't exchange for any other. It takes a lot of fire and heat to make a piece of steel." --Ronald Reagan

______----********O********----______
OPINION IN BRIEF

"Authority does not prove truth. ...Majority does not prove truth. The majority can and often has been dead wrong. That's why you cannot determine either the truth or the right or wrong of anything with a poll. You can only tabulate people's opinions. Beware of propaganda." --Charley Reese

______----********O********----______
GOVERNMENT

"When a man spends his own money to buy something for himself, he is very careful about how much he spends and how he spends it. When a man spends his own money to buy something for someone else, he is still very careful about how much he spends, but somewhat less what he spends it on. When a man spends someone else's money to buy something for himself, he is very careful about what he buys, but doesn't care at all how much he spends. And when a man spends someone else's money on someone else, he doesn't care how much he spends or what he spends it on. And that's government for you." --Economist and Nobel Laureate Milton Friedman

Anyway to say the least os that "we the people" must be aware at least that we are loosing all freedoms and rights... Otherwise we have lost already...

I call them "Words of Wisdom" because that is how my high school described their daily postings from students that they aired on the intercom each morning. Every morning they would propagate us with some student's poem or comment. Anyway, enough blabbing.

(By the way, I didn't mean to take so long. I accidently hit log out and I had to wait for a password to be sent to me to log in. Sorry for the wait CA.
)

Anyway here goes:

AGENDAS:

Agendas break pacts with men.

LOVE AND HATE:

Love is a hater of hate, but hate is no lover.

FEAR:

Those who fear, fear only themselves.

TO BE LOST:

In times when people are lost they seek, but only find that which loses them more.

SEEING:

To see is only to believe. Not the other way around.

MYSTERY:

Mystery leads to wonder. Wonder leads to amazement. Amazement leads to envy which leads to reverence. Reverence leads to praise, praise leads to agreement. Agreement leads to belief which does away with mystery.

SEX:

Sex is a united perversion in vanity.

PREVENTION:

Prevention only leads to more elaborate forms of abuse.

PRIDE:

The pride of my being is the demise of my person.

So what do you think???

I encourage others to post their's. I am sure CA won't mind. If you don't have any, then make some up, that is what I did. These are quite new, and all but one of these quotes were thought up last night and they only took a little though which took no time at all. Please use your mind and see what is gives you. It is fun. Try it!!!!

And, just how do you stop it? I don't know about your country, but in mine (U.S.) no matter who you vote for they win.

The only other option is to patiently wait for the day when they cross too many lines and wake too many people from their comas.

We need an awakening in this country. The only problem is that people are too willing to accept all the corruption. Most people accept the fact that leaders and politicans are corrupt. Hell, they expect it. So it goes on and on and on. Until we say, "Enough is enough." then we will see this continue to occur. We need to say that, and then we need to say, "Never again!!!!!"

Only then will we see the Light.

Even after that the battle has just begun and the war is started. A war that could destroy us all.

Power is a bad thing. People want power but in what way and for what reason???

That is what makes anarchy so appealing. Only when we can learn to live as our own and be as our own will this world be free from power hungry corruptors.

Ok Tc, but stills being very bad to wait untill people awakes of anger, or unjustice, because "they" will be finished with their agenda, and big brother will be unstopable....

We got very little time to open minds to people about that matter, leave the political ideals on a side, and fight together against them with words logica and awakening. Otherwise we will be over as human beens...

Words of Wisdom by Abraham Virtue...

Well i think they are pretty nice, the only i like most is:

"MYSTERY:

Mystery leads to wonder. Wonder leads to amazement. Amazement leads to envy which leads to reverence. Reverence leads to praise, praise leads to agreement. Agreement leads to belief which does away with mystery. "

And i like one sentence very much also is this one:

If you run, you will only die tired.

Very truth! Very truth!

Here's four from Emery Reves's book 'The Anatomy of Peace (published in 1945 in the US). They may have never been more pertinent than now.

(1) "It is a false conception to belive that force without the pre-existence of law can rid the world of terrorism and maintain peace and security."

(2) "Peace is order based on law and only legal order can bring security. Without International law there can be no security."

(3) "All great powers behave like gangsters and all small nations behave like prostitutes."

(4) "Free Trade without free migration is an economic absurdity, a mathematical impossibility."

I imagine its been around longer than just a couple years ago, CA (
).
I've heard special ops guys use that line for several years, and if you ask them, they coined it. Heck, they'll probably attribute it to Charlie Beckwith!

"History is indeed little more than the register of the crimes, follies, and misfortunes of mankind."

Edward Gibbon British Historian 1737-1794

"The most dangerous man, to any government, is the man who is able to think things out for himself... Almost inevitably, he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable." -

H.L. Mencken American Writer 1880-1956

What about those TC?
