U.N. follies, becoming more "Irrelevant"

This current right-wing mania to destroy the UN is laughable, any old nonsense will do in the attempt. Either that or there are a hell of a lot of Americans here on ATS with little idea of what the UN does or how it works.

What's up, would it be too shameful politically in front of the rest of the world to just leave?
Do you have to therefore try and destroy one of the few places where the world comes together to talk it's problems over?

Oh please.

Sure there are problems with this kind of illegal trade happening but it is not a 'policy' of the Netherlands government or any European gov other than to try and stamp it out, how could it be otherwise?

It is illegal and against everything we all, in Europe, stand for in our attitudes to human rights.

You might as well start knocking the USA because there are abductions and women forced into the, vast American, sex trade by various circumstances who would not otherwise freely involve themselves.

This is one of the dumbest attacks on Europe I've seen here yet.
