Just been listening to this such a beautiful song brought a tear to my eye. Not sure if its the sentiment of the words or that this will be his last album.

a reply to: violet ( That"s strange I thought he passed also -maybe the Mandela effect.) That is too bad what a wonderful musician. The Wichita lineman is still on the line - and always will be.

I like a couple of Glen's songs, but new music in general is instrumentally too polished and digitally clean. kind of takes the soul out of the sound.

One of his last songs, haunting.

I'm Still here but yet I'm gone...

It tells the story of how he will just fade into oblivion and not even know what he is missing. Very touching.

I saw him on his final tour with his very talented kids. Sad and heartwarming at the same time. You could tell when he spoke, things were off. When he played he was flawless, and when he sang. I feel lucky to have been there that night.

It's one hell of a jam session among the stars. Rest In Peace, Wichita Lineman.

My world is a bit darker without your musical genius to leave me in awe, and smiling in delight.

ETA: My mistake, Roy Clark is still very much alive.
