That's silly, New York is anti gun, how can this be filmed there?

I've always loved Stephen King's stuff as a kid. This looks like a good ride. But what's with all the Stephen King revival? ( "it" is being released soon as well. )

I think Hollywood has run out of ideas, forcing them to reiterate old ones, often to disastrous results.

I predict that this adaptation will be on par with Enders Game... a thin shell of what it should have been.

Don't get me wrong. I absolutely loved all of these books. Individually and as a continuing story.
I just hated the last ten pages.
I will die a Stephen king fan.
As such I feel totally justified in criticizing him since I fed his family over the years.

I can't see Blaine on here without thinking of that train.

It was a Bachman book. One of the first IIRC.

I loved that book and thought the movie could have been better.
The story is so long and every part so vital to the telling of the tail it would still need to be ten hours long.

My hard copy has a broken spine I've read it so many times.
My hard copy of The Stand too but I have that as an ebook now. Much easier to read.

I actually felt the final ending was satisfying, Ka is a wheel.

We just need a Patricia.

It looks entertaining, even if it has almost no connection to the books. I'd prefer several movies that faithfully recreate the source material. But, last time I checked, the movie studio wasn't asking for my opinion, (just my money).
