The thread above isn't 'the subject' of this thread, but an example of the subject.

The subject of the thread is what is the threshold for a hoax - where the line in the sand is drawn when not discussing an article/title that is wholly wrong - but only partially so.

That particular thread is simply one of many where the article/title contains misleading information or outright fabrications interwoven with potentially real information.

Well you challenged their echo chamber, of course they have to come in and defend it. It's the same folks that piss and moan when the obviously false thread titles are pointed out rather than accept that they fell for it yet again.

My personal opinion is that pretty much anything political is a hoax or at least con job. That said, I wouldn't want to taint the UFO hoaxes by placing political tripe right next to them in the dread ATS HOAX Forum.
