In all honesty, it sounds like they are making jokes about 'socialism' with a metaphor about dividing pizza, in the midst of a primary race against an avowed socialist.

Just my .02¢.

(I do note that they only seem to give the taxpayers a single slice of an entire pizza to divide. I think that is pretty awful.)

As others have said, taken alone... without the attached image, yeah, that is a possibility.
But that pesky image with its back story and the number of other emails referring to pizza, pasta, and cheese in very odd ways... well it certainly leads one to believe we hear a quacking duck.

The image is in a different email chain, I believe.

Considering the two emails separately: one seems like it could totally be innocuous., and the other -- with the pic -- well, there could be something awful to that.

ETA: But obviously context is EVERYTHING.

They're ladies that Bill Clinton personally brought back from North Korea, where they were incarcerated for investigating child sex slave trafficking.

I don't know who the little girl is.

The jpg was an attachment to an email to Podesta that read: "It doesn't get any better than this".

To which Podesta replies: "Nice"

It could meant that they're happy they're all safe and sound, or.......

The two women in the pizza.jpg photo are (as rightly pointed out) Euna Lee and Laura Ling, who were arrested in North Korea in March 2009.

They worked for Current TV, whose owner is Al Gore. Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State at the time, and denounced North Korea ferociously over its treatment of the two reporters. On August 4, 2009, Bill Clinton flew to North Korea, with a message from President Obama to be delivered during a one-to-one with Kim Jong-Il.

The two reporters were freed within 24 hours.

This was big, big news at the time. So, is it really that hard to imagine a non-sinister reason why one Clinton staffer might send another Clinton staffer a crowing picture of the two freed journalists back on US soil, and eating pizza with a child, within a few days of the two journalists returning safely home?

Oh yes - about that child.

Here is a photo of Lee at the moment of reunion with her daughter. She kind of looks relieved to be back with her, don't you think? As opposed to planning to sell her into the clutches of an international pedophile ring?

That's a rhetorical question.

Yep. I'm not going to think about this anymore. If the Feds have some dirt on her in that regard, none of us are going to find it online. It'll all come out of it's true.
