Chem lasers are out and power generation has in my opinion been the major cork in the process. Even our best lasers today require the electrical generation of a ship's power plant. But that's all changing and Northrup Grumman has been leading that change. It's fitting they get this accolade.

It won't take long to develop this technology, a lot of it has ready to go behind the curtain.
