THIS article suggests that Lynch, due to fallout from her improper meeting with Bill Clinton, will accept the FBI's recommendations...rather than recuse herself.
Should we trust her? Probably not...but it looks as if Lynch's secret meeting has worked to FBI Director Comey's advantage.

So...if the FBI recommends indictment...Hillary gets prosecuted!

Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch plans to announce on Friday that she will accept whatever recommendation career prosecutors and the F.B.I. director make about whether to bring charges related to Hillary Clinton’s personal email server, a Justice Department official said. Her decision removes the possibility that a political appointee will overrule investigators in the case.
The Justice Department had been moving toward such an arrangement for months — officials said in April that it was being considered — but a private meeting between Ms. Lynch and former President Bill Clinton this week set off a political furor and made the decision all but inevitable.

Republicans said the meeting, which took place at the Phoenix airport, had compromised the independence of the investigation as the F.B.I. was winding it down. Some called for Ms. Lynch to recuse herself, but she did not take herself off the case — one that could influence a presidential election.

Ms. Lynch has said she wants to handle the Clinton investigation like any other case. Since the attorney general often follows the recommendations of career prosecutors, Ms. Lynch is keeping the regular process largely intact.

On the face of it, this would seem to be something of a breakthrough.

On the other hand, it appears to be posturing on Lynch's part to continue to refuse to recuse herself and to have a special prosecutor appointed to the case. Of course, back in "normal" times, a special prosecutor would have already been appointed to the case to avoid the appearance of impropriety in the investigation of a former administration cabinet member as was done, if I recall correctly, in the case of the Watergate investigation and prosecution.

For the moment, it appears everything hinges on the FBI recomendation. But that begs the question, to what extent is the FBI independent of this administration and also, whether or not we'll ever know the truth of what they recommend.

Perhaps the best guess is that the FBI will recommend a felony prosecution and then Lynch will step in and reduce the charges to a misdemeanor and Clinton thereby gets a walk.

Another thing to think about is the fact that the FBI has been being given a bad name for it's handling of Omar Mateen and other incidences. The public perception is being poisoned against the FBI so that any activity they engage is can be brought under question.

This makes an Obama pardon of Hillary easier to sell since the FBI messed up in those other cases, they obviously messed up in Hillary's case.

Possibly...she will recommend a reduced charge...but IF the FBI suggests multiple felony charges...she will have to accept the penalties that go along with those charges, to be true to her word.

Will Crooked Hillary go to jail?
No...Obama will come to her rescue.

Seems completely set up by Bill Clinton and Lynch to me. Unnamed sources go to the press with the story of the meeting. Lynch gets asked about it and fesses right up...

..Whatever happens with the investigation moving forward is all part of the grand plan, IMO.

I TOTALLY agree. I think it seems more likely that this is all part of making a pro-Clinton determination by the FBI seem more legit.

You're right about the special prosecutor in the Watergate case.
Archibald Cox was named and the Republicans threw a hissy fit over it.
They didn't want someone impartial and not part of the party.
I think Lynch is just stalling for time and will hold up the works until after the election is over.

Of course she will accept it. That is her job. They deliver it to her and she accepts it. This is getting stupid and par for the course with this administration and Hillary's play on words. She needs to recuse herself immediately. Talking about grandkids when she may have to put old grandma in jail. Nonsense meeting with grandpa about chit chat. And how often does he really see his grandchild being on the road all the time. Almost never. She does not even have grandchildren so how do you talk for over 30 minutes about it.

A CNN analyst on now saying the FBI is full of people who dislike the Clintons and the findings will be released, in full, officially - or unofficially - if necessary.

And we just heard yesterday how the emails between State Department employees and the Clinton Foundation will not be released for 27 months.
The findings will be released.... but when?

It's crunch time for the superdelegates.

Will they be able to cast their votes for Hillary knowing that Lynch will accept a recommendation to indict?

I still think they may be setting us up for Bernie, by default. And he still hasn't dropped out...

...And no one is really pressuring him to. Back in 2008, the calls for Hillary to drop out were relentless -- and she even won the popular vote. July is going to be interesting.

It's important that we address that aspect. The conspiracies have been in the making for some time and we will now see them "ramped-up" until a determination is made.

If she is indicted, all will be good.

If she is not, all hell will break loose and the conspiracies will fly.

I sure would like to know what Bernie and Obama talked about in their meeting. Do Bernie and Obama have more in common than Obama and Hillary?

Well, it could be that they've all talked behind the scenes (and in airplanes) and that the FBI is willing to forego recommending indictment.

But from what I heard on the radio yesterday, there's a certain rule the bars any DOJ employee (and the AG is an employee) from dealing with ANY case that pertains to people with whom she has a personal relationship, and I think that it's pretty well known that she and Clinton(s) are friendly on a personal level.

I think what's happening (and it's been planned this way) is that they're trying to set up a situation where the procedures are purposefully getting to incorrectly handled that there will be no choice but to throw out evidence and call for mistrials and prolong the process so long that Hillary gets elected.

I really hope your scenario is wrong. I really hope the FBI has dotted all its i's and crossed all it's t's.
