I can't get into too many details, but I have family very much in the know that have elevated my concern level quite significantly about what has been going on today.

I think folks should start looking at their personal situations i.e. banking and investments and start making some moves to hedge what they have. Also - it can not hurt to prepare some things like food / water / supplies to last you for a while in the event that things do get really bad with the economy...

Don't take my post as an imminent warning, but I have people really close to me who work in places like the Pentagon and the financial sector and they haven't given any specifics, but have started making big moves themselves re: personal finances (investments) and various plans to stock up on consumables that sell out in times of scarcity.

Like I said - I am not trying to peddle doom porn or anything, and I haven't been told anything directly like "China is cyberattacking us and we're about to go dark" - but the fact that very rational, highly educated / scientific types who are not preppers or into doom porn are taking precautions has raised my concern level a good bit.

Everything is normal except for the China part. It's just a constant bombardment. I only stare at these from time to time, so maybe these none-stop attacks are normal.

So You totally are ignoring the other very serious business that is going on at this moment in China and may be the root for other areas being put into play?

Federal employee records and DOD/Veterans personel records are maintained and stored in St. Louis

This is not good. Related to above posts about financial connection to it. Of course they say it isn't, but look at Obama's comment and that raises a possible Freudian slip.

Just remember what Norse is. It is a cyber security firm that uses "honey pots" to attract cyber attacks to study them and how to defeat them. Certain places see high activity all the time, places like St Louis. These would be some of Norse honey pots attracting attacks. So what you see on those maps is not always what is going on.

these attack maps would be so much better with laser sound effects.

this is nothing new really. China has been attacking out infrastructure with cyber warfare for a really long time and constantly everyday.

What are you doing to prep for the "Event?"

Saint Louis - Boeing (Phantom works and Boeing Defense HQD.), Monsanto World HQD, Saint Louis Federal Reserve, a company that used to be known as Savvis -aka: "the network that powers Wallstreet" now controlled by Centurytel. Scott Airforce base. Army records center. Some sort of GPS HQD for the Army (I forget the name).

Kansas City - Sprint HQD (I think), yet another Federal Reserve Bank. The Air Force base where the B-2's all are (I forget the name, Whitman?).

Between KC and STL is one of the main Army training bases, Fort Leonardwood.

I am just naming some networks that would be of interest that I can think of in Missouri.

In addition to these also there is a fed reserve there and the US Miltary's personal files are there. Easy to see how many and where troops located. Just some thoughts.

The reason it's St Louis is because Norse has administrative offices there along with a data center. It's their honeypot sensors that attract scanning activity. The map is making it look like it's an attack. It's just business as usual for them.

If you do a little googling, Norse admits this fact.
