Thanks for sharing your dream. Ive had some strange experiences with dreams too. Just ask God for guidance and listen to the answer. And go from there.

I hope you are right, but I have had those dreams before and this felt different. Much more real and nearby...if that makes sense... I hope its just dreams and nothing more.

I don't know. That is one of the things about the dream that really bothers me. One minute they are there and the next they are dead. I don't see how it happens in the dream. That really bothers me. Not that I want to see it, but why is everything else in such detail and what is seemingly the keystone event hidden?

Exactly. It felt evil. It would have to be to commit such act against the most innocent of us.

I had a similar dream about 2 years back.

It was.. there are no words really for what it was, utterly evil is close. It was so bad i've had to deal with the flahback's and deep sadness even just pondering such a thing ever since. As scary as it is, it's somewhat reassuring I'm not alone in seeing such an event.

It took place (my one) in what looked like a overgrown bunker, many ordinary folks were going in, only robed & uniformed types were coming out. I was having a argument with someone about "going in" and it seems like i was trying to get someone out (that's where this begins) i go in.. and it looks like a slaughterhouse, from there it get's pure evil.

One thing has stuck in my head this whole time, there was a small sideroom, a robed thing & a normal human were carving from a thigh (yes.. attached to the rest of the person on a table) not deeply but like a graft. that was bad enough but then the robed thing said "The flesh is best served live and screaming" as it passed the "strip" to the human.

that messed me up IRL, for a few days.

a reply to: RP2SticksOfDynamite I have had multiple dreams that have come true. Mostly unimportant events, but some of more importance. Not all dreams are from personal fears, what happened the day before or what you ate at night.

I'm in Australia,I've had weird dreams for years about tidal waves taking out cities, its weird for me because I generally never remember any of my dreams except those. In them it was like being outside myself watching it all happen calmly but still sad,& thinking thank God I live in a desert region & we're safe but those poor people never had a chance. Really strange though,a couple of weeks ago when I was just on the verge of falling asleep I had like a vision in my face of a missile flying through a map. I don't know what country was on it,I'm not predicting something but it felt bad,I couldn't breathe & I was cold. I have not told a soul about this coz I can't explain it to anyone & still seem rational. So I repeat I am not posting doom porn ,but I feel like I'm losing it lately & I am not around anyone that would understand it

So strange , I am not really into the dream thing , But last night I had a dream that i was holding my daughter and trying to escape from some men that were ISIS or some type of cartel I don't know but the feeling i had was so dark and hopeless .

I recall everything around us being completely in Ruins all the men were masked mostly in military uniform .

The only thing i could focus on was getting my daughter to safety .

This constant feeling of possibly being caught and loosing my daughter was dreadful .

While was trying to get away we came across a locked cellar door and their was a Somali man inside that i freed I kept begging him to come with me but he said he had to go save his family .

the world i was in was some Post apocalyptic world ....

I have been working away from my kids for about 3 months now and last night was the first night I had any type of dream about my them .

I mean i talk with them on skype every night and I do miss them allot but I have learned to not dwell on it and stay positive and keep my mind busy .

So for me to have this dream last night was really out of the norm.

I will say I have no fear of ISIS or a cartel , It''s just the only thing i can really compare these people to.

If their is anything i gained from my dream its an awful feeling of what its like trying to keep your kid from being taken away from something evil.

To OP:

ISIS and BokoHaram have been doing similar things and are currently all over the news with this. I believe that we dream what we experienced during the day. Could it not be that you read [even at a glance only] some headlines and your subconscious filled in the rest during sleep?

I personally do not have predictive dreams but I sometimes 'pick up' when something is happening at the same time, so I am not trying to discredit you. But in this case, especially a large amount of kids in mortal danger, is exactly what is all over the news right now and brains record everything we perceive during the day, even if we are not aware.

I think that this is what happened in this case.

That's kind of like the dream I keep having over and over and over. Some kind of a bomb has already gone off, either nuclear, or similar. In some dreams I'm in my own car, in some I'm trying to hot wire a 4 wheel drive SUV type car to drive over rough terrain to get to my daughter's city to ensure her safety. (About 2 hours away, but 5 years ago, the dream was trying to get to her school about 10 minutes away. That should tell you how long I've had this dream!)

I've had prophetic dreams, and what I call "after effect" dreams. For example, after 9-11, that night, I dreamt I was in that stairwell and it was on fire. I was one of the people in the building. I could feel the heat above me and around me. We were rushing to get downstairs to get outside to get air. We were having trouble breathing. My lungs hurt so bad, my eyes were stinging. As we were running down the stairs we could feel the flames at our backs. Then I could feel the flames as it pierced my skin over and over until death happened and I woke with my heart pounding in my chest. To this day I absolutely cannot watch footage of 9-11 without feeling my skin burn. It's too real for me even though I wasn't there physically I feel I was there psychically.

I know what you mean. I saw my dream and I don't really understand it. How can I explain it to someone else? Its easy to just lump it all in the doom porn category, but I don't think everything that sounds like doom porn is. Some day at least some of it will be right.

Your dream is interesting, especially since you don't live near water. I have never been big into the dream thing but this one dream of mine really has me bugged. I know how unnerving it can be. I hope it sorts itself out for you. :-)

Its hard for me when it happens to children. I cant imagine what it would be like if it was my own child. The feeling of dread I had was terrible, and I was looking at strangers. I cant imagine how you must feel. Stay in touch with them when you can and always hold them in your heart, and they will never be that far away.

You could be right. I have had dreams that turned out to be nothing. But I have to say, this felt very different. I don't know if that is significant or not, but if it isn't - it should be.

That is certainly possible. I didn't mean to present the dream as a prediction. It was more a statement of the general tone and timbre of the dream that had me bugged. I mean, everybody has had a scary dream of some kind. But this was very different for me. It felt so close and was so very real. I don't know how else to describe it.

Also, I first time I had this dream was about ten years ago. That was before I ever heard of things like the acts of mass violence being committed by groups like ISIS and bokoharam. Of course I knew about terrorists and guerilla warfare and the like. But nothing like this had ever presented itself to me. And no dream had ever seemed so real.

OP your "nightmare" is less horrific than real life. To date the number of abortions since 1973 in the United States alone is over 57,846,000. Worldwide the number since 1980 is 1.3 billion dead babies. So a few hundred? That's it? Sounds like a better place than here. Dream peacefully next time.
