UKIP want electoral reform, they want the vote of every man and woman to count as individual votes (probably not the right wording).

I am voting UKIP, I am not ashamed to admit it, because unlike a lot of people, I can see through the media bollocks that portrays the party as racist, bigoted, homophobic, sexist yada yada......

If we want change in this country they are the only party, in my opinion, who are willing to deliver that change.

I am 35 years old, this will be the first time I have voted in a general election, the second time I have voted in any election. The last time was the Euros, where I voted for....take a guess....lol.

ETA: Voting registration is now closed, if you haven't registered, please go to www.toughbloodyluck.lol

Sorry but in my opinion you couldn't be more wrong.

Racist or not (Although I think the majority of UKIP are closest racists, you just cant be so open about these things nowadays) UKIP are not the peoples party. The are simply Tory-right, you will see inequality grow even further with even more strain on our services. Waste billions on nukes we will never use and further ruin our planet. Scrap inheritance tax ? remove incentives to go renewable? its a bloody disaster. All you have to do is look at practically any other candidate than Farage and they are just crazy, its when you see old social media posts or things they have said not thinking they on camera do you really see their true colours.

Sorry bit of topic , but I couldn't help myself. Everyone has the right to vote for whoever they please. Im just concerned people will vote UKIP expect change and get none.

I had registered to vote a while ago but had to remind the girlfriend last minute!!

Sorry, have to disagree strongly with your statement that the media portrays UKIP as racist, bigoted, homophobic, sexist yada yada...

Everytime UKIP open their mouth they portray themselves as racist, bigoted, homophobic, sexist etc, etc..

How many UKIP members does it take to screw in a lightbulb.? Ten, one to screw in the bulb and the other nine to stand around ranting it was them Bloody foreign poofters with HIV what caused the lightbulb failure in the first place.

Yadda yadda yadda yawn, what the # do you care Solo, I'm certain you're voting SNP and want to leave the UK so you can be a tiny cog in the EU machine, that's fine, go for it.
I want my country to leave the EU and become a solely trading partner with Europe, with immigration rules similar to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, The US... need I go on, or do you consider those countries racist as well?

UKIP are the only party guaranteeing that is what they will fight for, and even if they only get a small handfull of MP's then they will force the Conservatives into that promise of a straight out referendum on EU membership.
For that fundamental reason I am voting UKIP. I have never had a vote on the EU and we sleptwalked into membership through various treaties.

Vote SNP, get independence, good luck to you. I hope the rest of us vote to leave the EU, but the border with Scotland will be the weak link as you get your share of the 200,000+ EU migrants currently being added to the population of this island every year.
Gonna give every one of them free university tuition as well? lol good luck with that.

You will find, whether you had to "register" or not, you are on a register of voters. In Europe (in fact the world over) it is common for voters to be registered. Some will require you register yourself, some will do it automatically, but you will be registered one way or the other.

Where exactly are you originally from?

As for the OP - I am surprised by how many people weren't registered! Jeebus people, all these opinions I've read over the years and none of you have even registered to vote!! It's no wonder we have the Government we do with such apathy around.......

Freeborn, I'm especially surprised at you not having registered until recently!!

How many Immigrants leave the UK every year..? How many natural born Brits migrate abroad every year.?

yeah, i'll be voting SNP, i'm having the laugh of my life right now watching and listening to the anti Scottish bile coming from south of the border. You cant ask a politician from any other party a question on their very own manifesto but the SNP has to come into the equation. We are all the rage at the moment.
Little ol England running scared from little ol Scotland and i'm loving watching them use the SNP as a stick in which to beat one another with... lol

Pucker up England, the Unicorn has broken free and is coming down to sort out the establishment once and for all...

I'm one of those folk of course, I last voted in 1997, most years I haven't really given much of a toss as my little world here has changed little under Labour or Conservative government.
I am absolutely passionate that I want the UK to have a solely trading relationship with the EU, and I knew I couldn't bitch about it if I didn't vote.

*Edit*
...and this is the first election since 1997 where an 'out of EU' party has a realistic chance of forcing that referendum which I want.

You obviously haven't a clue about the actual migration facts.
The UK has had a NET increase of 200,000+ people from the EU for too many years now.
Read up on it and you will see that I am correct. I can't be arsed linking to every official and independent report which you can easily find with google.

I awright keep yer knickers on, i only asked how many leave, my guess would be just as many leave because it's not the land of milk and honey they imagined.
Something like 2.4 million Brits now live permanently in other parts of the European Union. i dont hear the same bitching coming from elsewhere about Brits migrants abroad.

Yeah and the vast majority are retired folk SPENDING their UK pension in warmer places like Spain, Portugal, and Southern France. They are not competing with locals for unskilled work in factories or building sites. They do not send their kids to local schools, or claim benefits, and are quick as a flash to fly back to the UK if the NHS can offer a better/free treatment plan if they need it.

Nope, there are not hundreds of thousands of Brits working minimum wage jobs and claiming 'in-work benefits' like Housing Benefit, Tax Credits, Child Tax Credits, and Child benefit in the rest of the EU.
You want to be the land of milk and honey for Eastern Europe if you get independence from the UK and we get independence from the EU? That's cool, won't affect me, and I'll laugh my tits off when your services are stretched to # when they can't qualify to work in my part of the island, so socialist Scotland is their next option..

Why is everything all so doom and gloom with you people down south.? Do you really believe we cant stand on our own two feet?...lol..
If we had gained independence England would have been the ones bankrupt already, not Scotland..Ha..

Anyway. We may have lost the battle, but trust me on this, we will win the War..a Pyrrhic victory was all that was achieved...Independence is inevitable for Scotland...Like it or lump it.

Carpe Diem..we aint going away. deal with it.

We are all hurtling through space at the same MPH, yet we find a division somewhere along the line somewhere...i simply do not understand it.

We are but the same ,but we treat each other like we are a different species...Nae Borders, Nea passports. lets just be human for f#### sake, At least, just for a little while...

Cant we be better than what's expected of a human by TPTB.

There has to be something fundamentally wrong with your soul to want to restrict another human being from moving from A to B...wake the f### up. it's about $$$$$$$£££££££ and keeping bankers and capitalists in profit. Money is not a obstacle unless you are one of the one percent.......wake the f### up.

The problem is the system we are currently in. I would love one world without borders, but until we lose our dependence on money and such like, that will never happen.

As I have said many times Solo, I am half and half, English and Scottish, to me it is one place, home.

Sadly, in this day and age, it doesn't quite work like that.

I honestly believe, the UK needs to break up into regions that aren't dominated / ruled by Whitehall.

Not break up as in become separate from the UK, but local government, that controls our own finances / taxes.

Our taxes will go towards the HS2 rail project, but I for one will never use it, I only ever go north or east, I never go south, except to visit my Auntie and Uncle in Preston.

Our taxes went towards the Olympics, I only watched the end for the Queen (band, not Liz) / The Who performances (although admittedly I got excited when I seen Annie Lennox show face).

I have the same look on the situation as the Scots, most of us Northerners do.....we are paying for the upkeep of the South of England, with very little returns.

Yes, that makes me angry.

I was being serious when i said London spends 24x more than the North east of England on infrastructure...England, we have a problem....???

And people wonder why we Scots want to GTF out of it...we have our own stand alone economy here in Scotland, it's the stupid and victorious scare stories from London and the forces of evil we need to defeat.......go on try it yourselves, you English above the Watford gap. and you will see what we had to compete with....it's all a con people........preachers full of #, trying oi convince us all we are living some different life,....we are all on the same sinking boat.......wake up..

And that is why UKIP looks so promising for us Englanders, we can't exactly vote for the SNP, wouldn't vote for the BNP, conservatives, labour and lib-dems are out of the question, Greens would take us back to the middle ages...what is left?

I think the UKIP manifesto has it spot on, I think Farage is a hell of a cool guy.....if they turn out to be like the others, nothing lost, if they deliver what they are promising, it's a win.
