1. They are our closest ally in the Middle East region.

2. They are the best functioning democracy in the region.

3. Their interests are closely aligned with the USA.

4. Jesus was born there, we love Jesus.

5. They pretty much control our foreign policy in the region.

6. You can't have an opinion on foreign policy for the USA unless Israel says you are Zionist enough. (Just ask Rand Paul.)XXX

7. Flights to and from Israel to New York and Florida would be cheaper with less customs controls.

8. Israel's people are far more white than brown so we would gain another majority white state.

9. Their women are attractive just check out NCIS, or pretty much any USA TV shows.

10. If the state of Israel were the 51st state in the USA it would cost the US less to maintain.

Lets just call it what it is, the USA would not exist if the British Monarchy had not sent a colony to North America. The state of Israel was established by the British Monarchy in pretty much the same arrangement so why not make Israel the 51st state of the union?

If they did, they would still be one of the states with the largest Federal $ contributions... 2nd. line.

I would rather add Mexico to the 51st before Israel. e turn Mexico to the 51st, reducing the border size to lock down by two thirds, and creating a boon for private contractors in the construction industry just bringing the country up to code. Then we relocate all the Jews of Israel to the American Southwest, giving them half the land needed from Mexico and the other half from USA side. Now our media machine will break their culture down and turn all the next generation Jewish kids into Mexican gangbangers pushing dope on the streets.

Government still has its drug cheme going, the Jews still receive a windfall in being the middle man and no longer have to worry about the Arab/Mulim boogeyman, border is reduced by two thirds making it easier to lock down. Everyone wins!

It would make much much more sense for Israel to join the EU.
Get your dirty hands of them, we need them. Greedy Americans(joke)

#1 tossup between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

#2 Yup

#3 you better remind Obama

#4 on the fence on that one

#5 again that's a split with Saudi Arabia.

#6 you better remind Obama again he has an opinion on foreign-policy Israel doesn't like currently.

#7 only if they are nonstop flights.

#8 semi-racist remark but true nonetheless.

#9 have you ever heard of Gilda Radner ? Lol

#10 very doubtful, the US would want to double the arms and increase the head count

Note; These are only my opinions but I feel they are fairly accurate.

Well I don't agree with number 9 that there all hot. I do have a full on crush on Alison Brie from 'community', she is such a honey and fully makes up for any of the ugly ones, I suppose.

But anyway................ Screw Israel, what have they got to offer? A tiny war torn bit of sand?

If any country should be a part of the US it should be Australia, we basically are (unofficially) as it is anyway. We've backed the US in every single war without question, since WWII. We eat the same foods, watch the all the same tv shows and are a both a country full of proud rednecks who are obsessed with beer and footy. Australia is basically just a mini-US with universal healthcare. Plus we got abundant natural resources (iron ore, uranium, gold, you name it) , that the Chinese are just stealing from us right now anyway.

Plus, I'm kind of sick of being a part of the commonwealth. Good people, most of those English, just a little weird though. You know they actually drink warm beer apparently, lol.

So yeah, forget Israel.

And you think we have border issues now? Also, I can only imagine the admiration we'd see from the rest of the world if we did that. Some of your reasons are fun though.

Plus Israel has socialised healthcare. Does the GOP know about this and would they want other states to copy it? Apparently it's the fourth most efficient healthcare system in the world!

Poor Puerto Rico... Been a territory for so long, can't get anyone to take its consideration for statehood seriously, and now people are saying that we should consider annexing other countries to fill that spot PR has been itching for.
