That sucks... I think it's supposed to last about 2 hours. Maybe the clouds will clear within that time for you to see a bit of it. As for me... I'm only looking for the beginning, which I think is in about 10 min. Although, there seems to be some confusion as to whether it will start in 10 min or an hour from now. Either way, I'm in bed in about 15 min at the latest!

Yea, it is almost here. I will post pictures after it happens.

I am in a area that will have a Total Lunar Eclipse. Since this "Blood Moon" is in the sign of Libra I am a little more excited since I am a Libra.

At its best in about 2 hours here in Australia . 50 percent cloud so here is hoping .
Edit that to 90 percent .

the photo sucks sorry
that is from about 30min past York in Western Australia. Probably one of the bravest thing i have done in life -I turned all the lights of for 15minutes and walked away from car in the aussie pitchblack outback to watch it(not a wolf creek and dingo eat my baby fan)

Oddly enough i noticed in the paper today that Adelaide had perfect viewing conditions . Apparently there is 2 Adelaides as i could not see jack .

I was lucky to have a great view of the blood moon. No, thunder, lightning, earth shaking or great gusts of wind. But the eclipse was pretty spectacular to see. I took some pictures but my piece of junk camera did not do the eclipse any justice.

Unfortunately I did not get to see it even though I had to drive out to watch it. It was too overcast here to see anything. Trees block it from my house and the clouds blocked it from the road. Go figure.
