Need a little help with avatar please

Trying to freshen up my profile, I wanted to change my avatar.

What are the avatar size and weight limitations?

I tried to use Upload, and after selecting the file, and clicking on the cloud, nothing happens. Just sits there with me staring at it.

So I got crafty and just tried to hotlink my avatar from elsewhere and it takes it but a notice on the side says I must use thge media center.


What gives? Am I missing something?

You can find an Avatar Upload tutorial HERE. But it sounds like you're doing everything right. Might be a browser issue... What browser are you using?

Hmmm. Nothing wrong with that. Do you have other browsers installed you can try?

Ok. Just tried it with my Firefox (latest) and it worked perfectly and as expected.

I doubt it. Many distributions of Linux stayed free while Microsoft charged for their operating systems, and now even windows 10 is free to those who pirated earlier versions of windows.

Glad to hear using Firefox resolved your issue. If you had really wanted to resolve it with IE, perhaps the solution was in adjusting your IE security settings, but no need to worry about that now.

OS & browsers - apples and oranges.

MS destroyed the browser marketplace by Offering IE1 for free in Win95 bundles.
Wont matter in awhile anyway with Spartan coming out.

I appreciate the help, but it wasn't a security settings problem.
I participate in quite a few websites. And this was a one-off.
Plus I know my computers.

I have the whole car in the garage. (It's raining today)

Just like showin her off. Kinda proud of the girl ya know.
