It sounded to me like he was more mad that it was an anti-urban renewal. Like anyone who wasn't white and didn't have money was being pushed out of the town or pushed out of the businesses.

He reminds me more of a Franklin and Bash type, though with a little less law, and a LOT more tomfoolery.

When this came out , I suspected someone who is NOT White did this, and also suspected someone in the "law" profession.

I was right on BOTH counts. This is getting predictable nowadays. WEIRD!

Funny you say that. Last I checked, the official slogan of businesses in Austin is to "Keep Austin Weird". Looks like this guy was just following their motto.
