Ha, ha!! I love throat singing, not that I have any albums. It's such an ancient sound that just goes to the core of my being.

Thanks!!

That's one of the coolest things I've ever heard. I was listening to the Bob and Tom show years ago and they mixed somebody throat singing with Black Sabbath's Iron Man on the intro. I tried looking on youtube for it but unfortunately I can't find it. I wish I could because it was awesome.

I'm going to have to save this for a better time, but many thanks in advance

I've no idea if you have seen "The Epic of Everest" about Captain Noels' film of Mallory et al's expedition, but you should, not only for the incredible story and images but for the otherworldly soundtrack too - it will be on BBC iPlayer, or perhaps YT depending on where you are etc.

Seriously hypnotic stuff.

I saw a documentary on this a couple of years back. Anyone figure out how they create the harmony in the throat?
In the documentary I saw a higher pitch was used, nearer to a normal voice. I think the singing is called Hoomii.

That's exactly it. Thank you! Man, that sounds good. They're laughing their butts off and it is funny in a way but it's also dead on. Great stuff!
