ABC exposed using OLD Putin video to Claim Putin has Returned

Has Putin really returned?

I know, everyone is reporting Putin was in St. Petersburg signing papers with important people. One small problem. Al Arabia posted the EXACT same signing ceremony on Youtube in January.

Clearly both pictures are the same. ABC, a main news provider in the USA, has been busted showing old footage claiming Putin has returned.

I'm shocked ABC got busted like this. They must be cutting so much costs that they are simply running any footage the FSB sends them.

It looks like the Kremlin is pumping out 'official' news and the American media is simply running with what they are sent from RT or the FSB. It's pretty shocking they wouldn't do ANY checks on the story considering all the rumors of Putin being missing.

Thats what i think. Make the clip seem a bit more interesting by showing Putin with his swagga walking though the door. Then theres the clip with the other president.

This should get sent to the other news outlets immediately, and if they don't report it and blast ABC, I would send it to every independent and alternative media outlet I could possibly find.

They might not have the actual footage which RT had and used some old video.

Nothing really out of the ordinary here. They just used some old video's for some time filler nothing crazy. It's a common practice.

Now if your second video had them sitting across the table like in the first one then you would be on to something.

Did Hilary Clinton suffer a mini-stroke and returned 17 days later [hopefully lost 50 IQ points] (or had a simple eye lift procedure). Why does Putin seem to have become a "bombastic dictator" after 8 days in hiding; what is wrong with both pictures.

ABC aired old footage while publishing photos from Putin's reappearance. It is slightly misleading, but i don't think anything is out of the ordinary. Most news companies do it. ABC should have, as any other self-respecting news organisation does, display the time the footage was taken, so viewers would not be confused.

It is interesting that ABC would go with old footage in a story that opened with Putin finally returning. Like they were trying to have a secret laugh at their own viewers?

Are they not paying RT for the current footage to try and save money? What exactly is ABC doing???

The ABC story was clearly about Putin returning to the public eye after a long absence...and they ran old footage. Come'on...that isn't normal.
