Wouldn't explain why they issued warnings to Americand in a Saudi embassy instead of UK officials and parliament.

USA tends to be more of a target for militants than UK. There may be a number of reasons for this, but I believe that Saudi Arabia had a lot to do with what happened in Syria. On top of this stuff going on with Russia, particularly their bombers, I do have to wonder.
