Kind of a fun visual of how inbound air traffic looks like when the weather gets rough. This view is of the approaches to Atlanta-Hartsfield airport
while a number of thunder storms were on the prowl. Kind of like a game of frogger:
You could always tell when one of our jets flew near a thunderstorm. They'd come home with leading edges dented and unpainted. They left with them
painted. Heh.
We had one come back from a flight through Iniki with all their barf bags and then some filled, #3 shut down, #2 running hot, and one of their wire
antennas snapped and twisted around the prop on #3.

The controllers who work these large TRACON facilities don't get enough credit for what they do. They are miracle workers all day every day with as
much tin as they push, especially when it all goes to hell like in that video.
watch the first 10 seconds and the ones arriving from the northwest. a couple squeeze through right at about the 7 second mark with what would
probably have been a very unpleasant ride for both passengers and crew.
