We watched it. Interesting idea.

I hesitate to say much more because you said "watching."

I saw it.

I think Neon Genesis Evangelion was a better story along similar lines.

Just my opinion.

Wow. Interesting premise. "The Gut" needs to see this movie if he hasn't already.

There were a lot of questions at the end.

Agreed. There were definitely some things left to the imagination. Makes me wonder if they were thinking of a continuing series, depending on viewer response.

The girl(Krista) seems to be what they were hoping for by selective breeding, and I assume, the shots they were giving. Which is why each one was a cocktail for one specific person. The purpose for the experiment was not to one day launch an interstellar ship, but to find one or more conduits like the girl to teleport them across the universe. That part reminds me of Olivia's character in the Fringe series.

I finished it this morning and they knackered the ending...
Everything else was okay.

I don't think Ketsuko was overly fond of the ending, either. Too open ended.

I got it, but I do agree with both of you. It's like the writers picked the ending out of a hat, or something.

I watched the first episode last night and loved it. Looked up reviews and forgot the first season was done already, so I came across spoilers that reveiled a big twist that really ruined it for me.
