Mr. Pickles... WTF am I watching?

Has anyone seen this show yet? I just saw it for the first time and I'll just say that it was a very weird show. Not sure what to think about it.

Look at all the occult symbolism and gore, is this what we call entertainment these days? I'm surprised this show is on the air. What do you guys think?

Just more proof that the end is near. Imagine a fast forward of 10-20 years kid porn will probably prime time viewing! Morals are spiraling exponentially.
Just now we are realizing our planet we live on is sick (because of us), now it's everyone fault in their own weird ass way. We are a sick venal virus whether we want to believe it or don't.

I dig Mr. Pickles. Good boy.

I've seen part of an episode, but no thanks, not my kind of TV. It's not as bad as Superjail, however. That's one messed up cartoon.

Well, when you think about it... it's nothing kids and adults don't already see on a daily basis on tv, in movies, in games, on the internet, etc.

This cartoon just happens to toss it all into the ring at once.



I'm off to go watch some Bugs Bunny now, I need to unsee what I've just seen.

It reminds me of Happy Tree Friends. Mind rot but kind of funny, too.

This isn't the genre of cartoons for me. I don't think you have to resort to graphic violence instead of humor, plot and character development to have a good show...

A butcher cartoon. Old stuff. Lots and lots of butchery. Make it weird. Make it weirder and have a dog be the butcher. Make it even weirder and over lay a happy kids song to it.

Maybe it is a statement about all the butchery we see in our movies today or on tv. How grisly all the law shows, each trying to be more gruesome than the other.

Maybe just a student artist wanting attention. To may possibilities. The Powers That Be trying to influence the children to grow up as mutilators.

Bevis and Butthead on steriods. Ren and Stimpy on meth. Elmer Fudd and Bugs on, ah, devil carrots.

Are we asking for more censorship on U tube here?

It is satire. Dark satire making fun of every group that believes in that stuff. There was a thread on it back last September. I watched the one posted in that thread and I did laugh, but it doesn't make my must watch list. I don't watch much of anything anyway just stuff I download time to time.

I think its one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long time. That and Mike Tyson mysteries.

I love it and hope they keep it on for years.

There is just so much going on in King Star King. Crazy use of language and animation... It's so busy it hurts!

These shows aren't meant for kids, obviously. As far as I know they're not aired on channels for kids... viewer discretion is advised

Regarding the OP: These types of shows don't bother me. I loved Happy Tree Friends. Never watched Pickles though. The video was pretty funny.

Would I let my kid watch it. Nope. She is not old enough to understand it yet. As an adult, I know it's ridiculous crap.

For those that the show bothers, come on, your an adult. Don't watch it. You have that free will. Remove the stick from your butt and go about your business and don't ruin it for the ones that like this sorta dark humor. You know the old saying "Each to their own".

That is just plain disturbing and I don't think I made it through a full minute. Adult Swim you say? Whatever happened to the old stuff?

Totally sick and disgusting, but still not as bad as a Geico commercial.
