He should have looked into a mirror before making that statement.

It's still doubtful that he shows up. Pics or it doesn't happen.
Maybe the most hypocritical statement from a president in
the last hundred years... unbelievable.

We are the ones that provided the weapons in Afghanistan in the 80's.

What is this 'we' snip ?

Charlie Wilson did.

That happened under Reagan's watch so don't try to blame the Democrats.

Oh there is no try there.

That's a GD fact.

www.imdb.com...

Miss the movie ?

The last decade would have looked different had America not invaded nations that did nothing to America.

Oh so Russia is the only one that gets to invade countries that did nothing to them.

Afghanistan, Georgia,Crimea,Ukraine.

Alrightie then.

I was in my car when I heard this quote... I busted out laughing... Cuba, Panama,, Viet Nam, Iraq, Afganistan and how many we don't even know about.

Does anyone remember the original "mission Impossible" series? The missions were commonly to topple or otherwise interfere with other governments. The recent "Mission Impossible" movies and the like are almost exclusively about some corrupt internal person or group within the CIA doing bad things, not about the CIA meddling with the internal affairs of other countries.

Obama on Russia: 'Large countries shouldn't bully smaller countries'

What a slimy hypocrite: all Putin has to say is this:

Does that apply to Grenada, Panama, Iraq and Libya as well.

And what about Cuba, Nicaragua, and oh, what about Iran, didn't the CIA overthrow their democratic leader...

Theres many more

That's a half truth.

Operation Boot under the British. So BP could buy the Anglo Persian Oil Company.

Also I am sure the Russia KGB was there as well.

Considering this:

As a 1980 CIA document put it, "The Soviets see Iran as a greater geopolitical prize than Iraq...while hoping to prevent an Iranian turn to the West and to improve their own relations with Tehran", the Soviets also value their ties with Iraq.[1]

How can he say anything with a straight face? The world has always been they who have the most resources, people, territory generally bully the smaller, less equipped, less developed people. Sadly it doesn't seem like it's going to end any time soon.

So ATS bursts out laughing. That's good, I guess.

But what about the rest of the US population?

What does the average joe think about "gaffes" like this one, or the last by Kerry ("You don't behave in 19th century fashion in the 21st century by invading other countries on completely trumped up pre-texts...") ?

Not surprising he would say that and I'm pretty sure it's his type who are typing pure lies and disinformation on this site about other countries

Worrying thing is many Americans will believe him after years of being programmed to blindly worship the flag and the troops

Very worrying if a lot of Americans think this way as it shows the media over there has twisted reality to the opposite of what has occurred

Obama wasn't in change for any of the invasions you guys point out. So yes, as a whole, the US telling any other country that intimidation isn't good is funny. But Obama can say that that's not the way to go, with a straight face, because he's never gone that way.

"We have no interest in seeing Russia weakened or its economy in shambles. We have a profound interest, as I believe every country does, in promoting a core principle, which is: Large countries don't bully smaller countries," Obama told reporters.

source: www.wesh.com...

That's right.
Now which 3rd world country shall we invade next?

I know right! I can't stomach Americans, including him, who say sh$t like this. "OMG, look at Russia or China bullying it's neighbors and being all hegemonic and sh$t! DEMONS!"

Meanwhile, the US factually has executed the most foreign interventions, including coups, invasions, bombing raids, you name it, in the last 100 years. The history of Latin America is one long tale of the US stomping all over them.

You got that right! We're the biggest bullies on the block recently. Who are we gonna drone strike, invade, or intimidate. Remember in the hunt for Snowden how we intimidated the South American countries. It's time to lead not bully.
