Pope Francis is making conservatives squirm again. I can't believe that someone would have the audacity to claim that saving the planet will people poor when the church's birth control stance has probably created more poverty than anything else in the history of the world.

He was accused of "theologized propaganda" with his statement. I agree.
His statement that most of global warming is man made can't be backed up.
Pope Francis does a great job when he sticks to matters of faith and spirituality.
He falls dreadfully short when he speaks on political and monetary matters.
Some of what he says in those areas is downright frightening.
He'd do better to say how we should all follow the writings of St. Therese of Lisieux.
That's his job. Not embracing far left or far right political ideologies.

Of course it pisses some of them off, they've been brainwashed. From day one I said this guy will be demonized by the Right and sure enough...

If they'd only bother learning basic science, this absurd argument would be over.
