That's pretty cool, I don't really watch anime but I do like that. Looks like a BF-109 fighting with a Hurricane late 30s early 40s variants. I thought of that story as well towards the end, IIRC that wasn't the only account of that happening between Allied and German pilots, cannot say about the Italians, Russians and Japanese though.

Wow, that's a cool kind of animation...funny how the pilot was clutching his rosary beads as he trying to shoot the other pilot down...the hypocrisy of the human condition..

Yes, Spitfire IX, with 6 exhaust stubs per side, 4 blade prop and underwing radiators under both sides. Not sufficiently up on my 109 models to ID that, though it looks like a 109E, fabulous animation with breathtaking attention to detail.

Great flying video... On a deeper level it is what happens when hate takes over... all reason goes out the door and the old "this is as good as any day to die" totally takes over.. It has been called many things but the end result is the demon of hate takes over.

Its actually a 10 minute short movie called Paths of Hate..Been around for a few years now..
