Pretty easy to hate on someone who's
-more popular
-better looking
-more talented
-richer (by far)
-than 99.9% of the rest of us....

Don't hate on the Beebs, He's better than you. Suck it up, life goes on.

He's 'better' than me? No.
Mother Teresa was better than me.
Bieber? Not even close.

Here is a link to his rap sheet:

In this case, 'rap' does not refer to music.
He is better than me?
I beg to differ.

I feel it is sad that our society is so based on outward appearance of any kind. I learned as a girl to play down my looks because I hated the attention.
Interesting study.
files.eric.ed.gov...

Comparing personal beauty with the model's is
more or les typical for many tenage girls, but atypical for boys.
The effect of comparison behavior varies with girls and boys; gender
plays a critical role in individual responses to advertising.

Who said anything about hate?

I can not be a Belieber and loyal fan club member without hating. But is he "better" than anybody? Guess that depends how you define better. None of what you said fits my personal description of being "better" than others though.

Life does indeed go on. Every day. Very happily. Even without being a Belieber

Here is what I actually posted.

I was just making it clear that 'rap sheet' is his criminal record.

And I am having a good day, thank you.

Images like these are damaging to young boys. They are portraying an unrealistic image that boys feel the need to emulate and it's causing them emotional damage. We need campaigns to say how boys are OK just the way they are and don't need a six-pack or large bulge in order to be attractive. All of us must fan out across social media and verbally attack girls who make fun of men's lack of bulge or lack of six-pack.

Oh wait, people only care when it's women being objectified.....

Carry on!

That is an interesting study, I've never seen one before that shows boys don't compare themselves to models as much as girls do. Cool!

Pop sensation Justin Bieber, 19, was arrested early Thursday morning in the Miami area for DUI, drag racing and resisting arrest.

Later that month, Bieber would run into trouble with German customs officials, who refused to let his pet monkey into the country due to the lack of necessary documentation.

Sad thing we turn people including kids into objects of physical worship. We helped ruin this kid and I think he was once a good kid.

I was being facetious, I have no issue with ideal images of beauty/masculinity being portrayed in media. I do take issue with people whining about the poor girls who are exposed to such images giving them low self-esteem, when men are exposed to the same thing (idealized male bodies) and it's all just fun and games. Not only is it one sided, but it's insulting to women, implying their psyche is so fragile they cannot handle seeing pictures of beautiful women without feeling inadequate.

You have illustrated the point perfectly, when men are photoshopped into a more ideal form it's funny and something to chuckle about, when women are photoshopped into a more ideal form everyone cries about the message it sends to young girls and how terrible it is that they have to live up to that expectation.

In order to lighten up here's a joke:

A man walks into a bar with a giraffe, both get drunk and the giraffe falls over. The man goes to leave and the bartender yells "hey, you can't leave that lyin there!" The man says "it's not a lion, it's a giraffe!"

Wow. I didn't realise they went so far with photo-shopping men. They've given him bigger, defined biceps and stronger looking pecs. No surprises there as they smooth out the arms of female models and increase/decrease boobs all the time.

The 'wow' for me is they've enhanced the dude's hands. Crazy.

In a few short words - they photo shopped Beaver to look like a man instead of the child that he is.
