The title "Midnight Thud" sounds vaguely pornographic.
I like B movies and some really good one slip under the radar.

damn!! I almost mentioned revenge of ninja. And YES! anything sho kosugi !!!

I like Dudikoff movies. American Ninja got me into his stuff. American Ninja 2 has an awesome theme song. I can enjoy just about any of his films. RIP Steve James. That guy should have/would have been the next big guy for that scene if cancer didn't take him too early. waaaay too early.

What about Decascos films. Drive is enjoyably B level. Maybe A minus material.

Dare I go there but Sidaris? Hard Ticket To Hawaii, Picasso Trigger and my favorite Return to Savage Beach.

Whats your favorite MA film period though? For me I would say the Raid 2, followed by the raid 1. As a silat Kali man I m a bit biased though.

in the 80's i was all about ninja's for sure...

for me all time periods are great..

i love the ip man series with donny yen.....they were fantastic.

anything dealing with wong fei hung...there are lots. jackie chan and jet li have done several.

for now, i think my current favorite martial arts movie is true legend....that movie hits hard man.
its got a master of the 5 deadly venoms...its got the wushu master turned drunkard so, the drunken boxer.

he hallucinates training on a mountain with an old sage and the god of wushu....

if you have not seen it i think it is important enough that you should watch it today....trust me

NINJA ACADEMY.

I dare you to sit through more than 30 minutes of it. IT's that terrible. it's literally unwatchable. The sound track alone could be used in guantanamo.

also played Foo in Return to Savage Beach. He mostly does the cliche angry japanese guy who responds to every question with a frustrated growl of some sort.

Seriously it's a painful film (ninja academy)

Ever seen Dacascos american samurai or crying freeman?
