Surprised there isn't already a thread about this. I gotta say, Disney can do no wrong. The animation was on spot. The story, though emotional, did make me laugh. It was definitely a fun ride. Hope they make a sequel. And with every Marvel movie (yes, this is based on a Marvel comic) stay after the end, and keep your eyes peeled for your favorite cameo guy!

Animation was amazing!
I thought it would be all right, but for Disney Marvel's first animated theatrical release, they exceeded expectations.

Gotta go check it out, been wanting to take the kiddos.
Good to see that it rates high and looking forward to going to check it out.

The kids seemed to like it, judging by the howling, but it left me completely flat.

Every time there was a peal of laughter I'd try to determine the cause, to no avail.

Scene opens with a wide shot of the street, 14 year old boys beside me cackle like bonobos. Hero waddles into frame like Chaplin in a Michelin man suit, they howl with laughter. I don't get it? It's like they've been hypnotized.

I've watched most of the big animated hits in the last couple of years and laughed my head off at several, but not this one.

I fear for the future of animated entertainment, if this is it.
