Lorraine Warren still has the haunted artifacts museum. She lives in Monroe Connecticut. TV crews and reporters have been in there. I don't know if people 'off the street' are allowed in there but it wouldn't hurt to ask …

they are willing (Lorraine at least) to admit when something has been over sensationalized.v

Needless to say, I'm rather skeptical when people claim inanimate objects are possessed.
We could call Elaine Warren and arrange for you to spend a night with Annabelle, how would that be?
Take her out of the case, use her as a pillow… just for one night. Any takers?
Did you really expect me to say "Aw hell no"? Of course I would jump at that, and livestream it. If it moves, I own up & have witnesses. If not, someone gets to explain why the demon dolly didn't act all demon-y.

Okay .. looks like two different dolls to me. The hair is different and the clothing is a bit different. Are those pictures of the same doll? I wonder why they look like two different dolls. (and it's not the color vs b&w thing … )

The husband - Ed Warren - died back in 2006.
I don't know what, if anything, he said about how Hollywood portrayed their adventures.
But I would take Annabelle for the night. Wouldn't worry a bit.
Pick Me ! Pick Me! [ Hand waving bouncing in the seat ]
So many people get "the creeps" being around stuff like this, but I would love to spend a night with some of these supposedly possessed items. Stay up all night, cameras and recording equipment rolling the whole time.

That's a convenient way to blame a coincidence on a haunting.
Not recordable on video translates to me like they are trying to hand wave away the fact that their claims can be easily debunked with modern technology. You just made me trust those two even less.

any evidence that any of the above claims are true - PS - it doesn't help that the tail is not even internally consistent :
Still, today, Annabelle remains inside a glass case in the Warren's museum where she can't do any harm.
not withstanding the minor point that a alledged " demon " who cannot escape a glass cabinet is not really that scary
the claim contradicts is earlier "" abilities to escape locked rooms :
would often come home to find Annabelle on the couch, knowing they had left her locked in Donna’s room.
