Metro 2033

Been reading through this book by Dmitry Glukovsky and find it to be incredibly illuminating. Especially interesting are the hypnotists of the Savage Cannibals of the Great Worm Cult. He synthesizes elements of many other post-apocalyptic survival genres into this one work, creating what I believe to be something unique out of a heavily derivative genre.

I didn't know it was a novel. Ive heard the game is fantastic. Wonder if I can find a copy somewhere since I lack the time and resources for gaming these days but can read at work.
