Sometimes it's nice to take a step back from all the doomporn and depressing news that's going on right now and appreciate some of the beauty this world has to offer us. In pictures.

Here are 48 pictures that I stumbled upon today while looking at something completely unrelated and much more depressing.
It was nice to take a break for a few minutes and I thought I would share.

I invite others to share similar links, images, thoughts, feelings, etc...

Here are a few that I really liked.

I had enough time to look at the three posted.
I'll try to view the rest later but right now I have to run.
My country's collapsing!

We need these -- and thoughts like yours.

We need to think a little and contemplate some of the beauty around us. Peacefully.

Thank you!

Aren't they all? To one degree or another.
Thanks for taking the time to post before heading out.

Agreed and that's something I often like to do myself.
Just stop and look around, there's always something amazing to see. even in the smallest things.

Thanks for this, I love that the tadpoles look like birds. Big fan of Octopi, and that coconut one is gorgeous. How great it would be to be the one behind that camera, seeing all that in person.
