Well we had another big quake just 2 min ago. Not as good as the one yesterday.

Wow, my dog was going bezerk 2 -3 min prior, thought she was barking at a animal outside, lol.

Anyhow just wanted to throw this out there for the EQ fanatics. I'm sure that most will look it up, but I'll add more here in a min.

Yesterday at 9:51am it was a 6.24 , tonight's was probably a 5-5.4

I think I'm seeing the one you're talking about.

RSOE EDIS

Showing magnitude 4.7 at 28km depth.

Stay safe, my friend! Keep us updated with what you're feeling there!

Yep, that's the one. Not as powerful as I originally thought. But still spooks me when I live right on the bluff were I can see across the Cook Inlet. Always have my bugout gear ready to hightail it to the mountains, never ever know if that wave is coming. It's the way nature offers me a free cup of coffee. OOhh $&@!

Thanks.

I've never felt an EQ or seen a UFO.
with the EQ, as long as you're totally safe I'm kind of jealous
to know how amazing and weird that must be to experience.

hey you're up to a 5.0 on Eartquake track

And earthquake happens and we laugh and have a bit of mocking towards mother nature...

"that's all you got, lol"

It's awesome, but sketchy too, but I've never been in a hurricane or tornado, but if I had the chance I would probably be one of the idiots standing outside leaning as far as I can screaming " look Ma, no hands,"

Yeah, I was disapointed at first with the under a 5 on the scale. But I think I may have called it. Almost 40 years in Alaska it gets easier to guess the size.

Yes I reported the 6.24 AK quake in his OP.

Sometimes I don't like to share,

We had a few in Manchester, ENGLAND several years ago. Which is kind of unheard of. I was petrified lol and I'm sure they would only be considered a slight tremble compared to US EQ's. That said, I often scream at thunder. #cowardly

I knew you were going to get a good shaker up there!

I'm hoping you get nothing else.

In regards to Earthquakes and if there would be another Cali quake.

I've been more worried about Alaska and the Anchorage area than California,
but that is also the reason why I asked you how long you have been there.

Well in 2011 we had that 7.2, what a freaky and awesome experience that was! I'm glad to have a 5 and a 6 in two days then a abrupt 8-9. I watch the Japan videos often of the sidewalks and ground "breathing". Insanely creepy.

But the way the trees sway during a EQ is pretty intense, always waiting for that big wave. Churns the stomach..

I'm just bummed I keep missing them!

Everyone around here at work felt the 6.2 out by Willow, I was busy rolling something on a hand-truck, and hardly felt a thing. I did hear the building crack a bunch as it was shifting around.

I love a good shake! gets my adrenaline pumping feeling the sheer raw power of our Mother Earth. So here's to the big one! and me feeling it and no one getting hurt

Hey shred, did you miss the first one at 6.4 too? Your unlucky, you know that feeling of awe.

What a shame, well take the kids to Bouncing Bears and is almost as fun.

My sibling was fishing with the family in thier 5th wheeler and said he was yelling and screaming at the kids to stop messing around pushing the trailer, lol. then realized they were down at the lake
