I`ve never liked her style of humor but i know that it`s just her attempt at humor and it`s probably not really who she is.

I agree with you in that I hate that woman with a burning fervor, but is she really ATS thread-worthy??

She was joking. She's a comedienne. You've made it clear you don't get humour. You were not joking in hoping she would die.

I'm not a fan of her by any means. She's a grating loud mouth, no argument there. But as I understand it, she & her daughter (Melissa) are really close, so I can offer sympathy to Melissa Rivers.

Yes her face is offensive.

Her comments on the Palestinians was not a joke or a joke attempt by her.
She wished death to millions, and again... I didn't wish she died.
I said I didn't care if she did.

Not surprisingly, her comments rankled the left, but Rivers took to Facebook later to say some are taking what she said out of context, the Mail reported.

“I am both saddened and disappointed that my statement about the tragedy of civilian casualties was totally taken out of context,” she posted.

"My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world," she said. "Her condition remains serious but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery."

Let me point out, you don't know her as a person.

There are many "styles" of comedy. She states Lenny Bruce as her inspiration.

I don't get Robin Williams, at all. I think he's a good dramatic actor, but find nothing funny in his comedic style.

If you're wishing death on an ignorant loud mouth - you're sending your negative thoughts to the wrong place. She has some 'out there' views - but this does not warrant death. You need to re-think things.

I hope Joan Rivers gets the same thing she hopes for others.
