Joan Rivers placed in coma after she stops breathing during medical appointment

The comedian was getting her vocal cords checked out Thursday when the incident occurred. She was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, which confirmed she was a patient. Doctors will take her out of the coma this weekend and assess any damage.

Let me just say this first. I've always disliked this woman with the utmost passion, and dislike is a weak term for my feelings toward this so called comedian. Not only I think she's not funny, and very offensive, she's offensive looking. WTH is that face all about ??

An example of just a few weeks ago, when she said...
(Joan Rivers): 'Palestinians deserve to be dead'

She wished the death of millions of souls......... It's funny how karma works.

I for one will not be praying for this witch to get better and I don't care if anyone says how insensitive I am about it.

If she dies, well.... May she R.I.P in advance.

What's funny is that you can say this, and then go ahead with this terribly mean-spirited post.

She told recently that the first lady was a man. She said "We all know it", i guess she means those who have influencial friends.
What's also well known is that government agencies have the ability to 'induce' cardiac arrest in those they'd prefer silenced.

Like I once said about a guy I knew years ago.

Can't think of anyone more deserving for such a thing could happen.

Yes karma is mean-spirited only if you don't understand "balance".
I'm just an observer here, and my observation is, karma is b!tch.

A woman, stand up satirist/comedian, still viable in her 80s.

Good luck Ann Coulter!

Well...

I do not particularly like Joan Rivers either. I think that she is an under talented loud mouth, with few redeeming features. However, she has never done anything that has made me wish for her to die, or to celebrate should she pass on. It is not as if she is Margret Thatcher. Now THAT cow, I made the day of her death a public holiday for me and my pals. That was a damned fine party.

Rivers, however aggravating she might be, has never done anything that could possibly cause a rational person to wish her ill. I can understand anyone being glad that her mouth will be closed for as long as she is in hospital, but that his hardly a good reason to wish her mouth to remain shut through death!

Poor cow.

No matter who the person I find something unsettling about wishing someone ill in hospital a speedy death just for having an opinion that you didn't like

I didn't say karma is mean-spirited. I said your OP is, & I stand behind that. Are you really saying I don't understand karma as well as you do?

I don't wish ill to anyone.
But I'm sure not gonna send her flowers.

I may sound insensitive, but I just wanted to emphasize the fact that she wished the death of millions and now, a coupke of weeks later, she might just be on her death bed.

With her garbage mouth it's ironic her throat might be what kills her.

On the rare occasion that I've watched television and seen Joan rivers with her daughter I've realized Joan rivers lives her life as a show.

She's content and you're watching her "show". Who wins there?

Quickest wit ever.

I agree. Comedians are always offensive to someone. It's what they do. She's no different. Plus that comment about Moochelle made my year. THAT was hilarious.

I hope she has a speedy recovery.

The "yugguns" of today don't understand just how important she is to women in comedy. She is a living legend.

Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Personally, I kind of like her.

There was a commercial she did not that long ago where she asked if she was smiling,
because she couldn't feel her face anymore,
and THAT was funny.

If karma attacked people like what you are suggesting,
almost everyone would be dead.

Karma does not work that way.

I wish her a full recovery and I hope her health rebounds quick.

When did we all stop being human?

Someone with a misguided opinion, but is now near to death, is being welcomed by people?

I really want to break T&C right now!

FFS!

And last night she said "I'm 81 I could go at any moment."

So coincidental, conspiracy?

Robin Williams' suicide was alluded to on Family Guy the night before or the same afternoon? Never know.
