I died laughing when I read this

On Saturday night, William Shatner took to social media with a question. It was simple in nature but when the Captain of the USS Enterprise wants a status update, you better hope someone is manning the comm station for a full briefing.

If you died laughing, how are you here???

Some of us don't click on every link offered. Could you give a summary? Thanks. Anything to do with the good Captain Kirk gets my attention.

MMMHM.
I just hope the ISS does not breach the prime directive as all the inhabitants seem to be quite primitive.
I wonder what Bill Shatners ATS handle is anyway?

I'm a huge shatner fan, but still am not totally sure why this is entertaining news.

It's Indigent. He hides will among the common folk. Don't tell him I told you that.

Shatner tweeted the ISS and they replied with a standard Star Trek reply

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

We saw William Shatner at Comic Con last year.
When it comes to geek-dom .... he's at the top of the 'must see' list.
It was awesome fun ... like this story. I love it.

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.

I almost went AWOL to see Shatner at his first Comic-Con. (Luckily, I was given permission to take leave). The guy is hilarious.

Maybe because as he has grown older and wiser he sees the humor in it all and his timing is perfect.

I would say that Leonard Nimoy is on the same plain as well. They're both very funny guys.

It's a geek thing Bro, they wouldn't understand.
These folks believe "make it so" and "Of course number one" are old school..

I was shocked when I found out that Bill had relented and decided to embrace his meeeelions of adoring geektastic fans.

Let me give you some advice, bastard: Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.

~T. Lannister

Impressive armor IMHO.

You gotta love Shatner! I got a good chuckle. It's always nice when others play along to keep the gag going.
